Every winter my sisters and I waited impatiently for the first snow fall. When it was finally deep enough to cover our boots we would get outdoors as fast as we could. After we had tired ourselves out and were ready to go inside we would have to do one final thing; make snow angels. Plopping our bodies down and spreading our arms and legs about we would help each other up taking care not to disturb our angels. Each time our mother would come out to admire our creations letting us know a treat was inside waiting for us. As we each sat down to a steamy mug of cocoa and a special little cake. Sitting with us our mother would tell us a story about the angels baking cakes for someone who was really special.
